Tuesday Bare Essentials – Did you know that California’s migrant and seasonal agricultural workers sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training compliance deadline was January 1, 2020?
Senate Bill 1343 requires employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training. Employees in non-supervisorial positions are required to be provided one hour of mandatory training and supervisors are required to be provided two hours of mandatory training within six months starting the position every two years. The training compliance deadline is January 1, 2021, for non-seasonal employees per SB 778.
