Luckily, “No Contact” or “Curbside Delivery” has been introduced through food delivery apps like Uber Eats, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, and many more. I tried it. I selected “no contact” delivery when I ordered and my delivery driver left my order at my door. I received a notification of delivery, opened my door and grabbed my food. That was easy!
No Touch” or “Curbside Delivery is branching past takeout. If you're worried about going to the grocery store you can also have your groceries delivered to your door with no contact. You can find these services through your local grocery stores like Safeway, Krogers, Vons, and Ralphs. If you prefer to shop from multiple different grocery stores you can also use Instacart. This app allows you to shop from multiple different grocery stores near you. What is great about this app is if a product is out of stock it preselects an almost identical item for you that you can approve. This is especially great since grocery stores' shelves are low on product.
Often people opt out of delivery for the fees that are applied to them. Luckily in these trying times, many apps and grocery stores have canceled these fees for cities having “Shelter in Place” orders.
